Pug Rescue of Austin is an all-volunteer nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue, healthcare, and placement of abused, neglected, and unwanted pugs. We do not discriminate on the basis of health or age. All rescued dogs reside in loving foster homes until adopted and receive treatment for all urgent and essential care needs, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Our mission is to provide a safe, caring, and humane refuge for abandoned dogs in our community and to ensure quality adoptive homes. Pug Rescue of Austin promotes responsible dog ownership through a mandatory spay/neuter policy and provides public education about the unique needs of pugs.
