Cause Description:
The Colorado Sickle Cell Treatment and Research Center is the region's only source of comprehensive medical care and special expertise in hemoglobinopathies. Our mission is to provide comprehensive care to all persons with sickle cell disease and other hemoglobinopathies; to conduct research to elucidate the pathophysiology of sickle cell disease; to develop and implement treatments and systems of care that prevent or minimize complications and that prolong and improve the quality of life. Charitable Giving Only through the generous support from our friends in the community are we able to maintain a presence at the forefront of treatment, education and research in the prevention and cure of sickle cell disease.
