Rutgers Formula Racing was founded in 1989 by a group of engineering students who wanted to apply their classroom knowledge to a practical application, in this case engineering a formula-style racecar. Since then, the club has grown and continues to be a strong contender at the annual Formula SAE event, competing against some 120+ colleges and universities from around the world. (http://students.sae.org/competitions/formulaseries) Over the years, the level of competition has grown significantly. RFR needs your help with funding, to supplement the enormous amounts of time, effort, and personal funding that is contributed by current members.
