Cause Description:
We are a small non-profit, no-kill feline shelter and animal refuge, a safe place for cats to be socialized and prepared for adoption to good homes; all are spayed/neutered before adoption and kept in good health, while being fully socialized; our land is also a safe zone for in-the-wild raccoons, deer, birds, etc. We monitor behavioral patterns among animals as well as caring for them. We are very interested in work re: non-surgical feline contraception and have been doing some in-depth communicating with universities and specialists on this subject and, in concert with such inquiries, we are working on community out-reach especially where spay/neutering is concerned. We are also frequently active in rescues in cooperation with other local animal welfare groups.
