The Blue Heart Sanctuary is a no-kill, non-profit, 501(c)3 animal sanctuary located in Western North Carolina. Our mission is to provide sanctuary to homeless, abused and neglected animals. To love and care for those animals and to rehabilitate them with the hope of finding an appropriate adoptive situation. To preserve and protect wildlife and native habitat. We are love in action and we believe all animals deserve the right to live a full and peaceful life. In addition to cats and dogs, we are one of the few sanctuaries in this area willing to take large "farm" animals, including goats, sheep, donkeys and pigs. In addition we are willing to care for exotics and wildlife in need of rescue.
