The Adopt a Doll Project... adopt a new 18" tall doll dressed by award winning powwow and traditional regalia designers for $150.00 and for every 4 dolls adopted, we give a dressed doll with her 'street clothes', a pair of pajamas, a snuggly blanket, a book especially written by a PhD to help these girls deal with the trauma of being removed, all packed in a special backpack to a Native American girl who is in either foster care or under protective custody. These dolls are based on the 'grandma dolls' which are so common with many American Indian tribes and promote cultural connectiveness, values and positive self-esteem.
