We engage short-term teams of volunteers to work with and learn from local people on human and economic development projects in 20 countries on 6 continents! The volunteer teams work on community-based projects under the direction of local leaders and hand-in-hand with local people. Global Volunteers is a non-governmental organization (NGO) in special consultative status with the United Nations.
